This region is famous in trekking, hikking, adventure etc. This region is full of traditional culture, custom and usages, spiritual experience, glorious history. Attributed by topographical diversity, Nepal presents trekkers an immense scope for trekking to unspoiled regions. The contrasts in the altitude and climate of the regions in Nepal support a striking mix of diverse cultures and flora and fauna.
Tapping the potential of this diversity new trekking areas have been opened. These treks provide the perfect answer to all those trekkers who are looking for freshness and adventure in their treks and gives an opportunity to marvel at the unexplored and diverse natural treasures of Nepal.
Though less high and famous than the neighboring Khumbu, it is likewise inhabited by the friendly Sherpa people, Solu also receives far less trekking traffic than the Khumbu, making for a more intimate and authentic experience. Dudh Kunda Lake is situated at the foot of Number Himal, locally known as Shorong Yul Lha, “Protector of Solu ".
This trekking area is located about 30 kilometers toward the north of Kathmandu. Trekking along this unbeaten trail is a new experience for the trekkers experiencing the beauty of this mountain region with the culture of local people. You trek through Tamang villages with its life, culture and crafts which have remained untouched from the beginning of the settlement.
Out of many newly identified trekking trials, Machhapuchhre Model Trekking is one. The trail was identified and developed by Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal. Machhapuchhre Model Trekking encompasses seven major villages and holds immense potential for trekking and hiking activities.
This trail between Kabeli and Khaksewa rivers offers an in-depth experience of the culture, tradition and lifestyle of the limbu people who dominate this region. This 4 nights 5 days trek starts from Suketar and passes through Lalikharka, Kande Bhanjyang, Simbu, Phungphung, Phumpe and Mamankhe. The trek ends at Mamankhe where more than 95 percent people are Limbu.

Chepangs, believed to be influenced by Tamangs, speak their own distinct language, leading a nomadic life and their primary lifestyle, hunting, foraging for wild roots and fishing and traditional farming near jungles.
